What is an NDIS Plan?
Your NDIS Plan is the roadmap through which you’ll be able to access the services you need and achieve your goals.
This document outlines the tasks and/or activities to help you get the right support.
The advantage of using a Plan Manager is the invaluable help and support you’ll receive while putting together your plan.
Who creates your NDIS Plan?
NDIS participants can work with an ECEI (Early Childhood Early Intervention) Coordinator, LAC (Local Area Coordinator) or NDIA (National Disability Insurance Association) Planner to help put together your plan.
NDIS Plans are made in a Planning Meeting which can be both face to face or over the phone. During your meeting you’ll discuss your goals, allocated funding and the necessary steps to achieve your NDIS objectives.
What’s the benefit of using a Plan Manager?
By using a Plan Manager, you’ll be able to access services from both registered and non-registered providers.
But the real advantage of using a Plan Manager is the invaluable help and support you’ll receive using your funding.
How long will it take?
Your Plan Manager will discuss the entire process and expected timeline of your plan with you during your meeting.
What do you do with your plan?
Once you have received an approved NDIS Plan you’re able to start using your funding to access important services and therapy.
There are also services available to help you with coordinating this access. For more information, check out our page on One Central Health’s Support Coordination services.
Are NDIS Plans reviewed?
Yes. Prior to the end of your plan, you will be contacted and a review will be arranged to make sure you’re receiving the support you need and meeting the goals you set.
