What is dietetics?
Dietetics is the field of study, knowledge and service that deals with diets: what we eat and the effects our nutrition has on our health.
Our dietetic services include nutritional consultations, assessments, management recommendations and the implementation and monitoring of diet-related plans.
What do dietitians do?
Dietitians provide counselling services to help advise, regulate and monitor what you or a loved one eats to ensure the adequate consumption of nutrients for a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
Our dietitian is available for consultation regarding diets and nutrition for clients of all ages and abilities.
Book a friendly, positive and non-judgemental nutrition and dietitian appointment to help you and your family with healthy eating and your wellbeing.
What accreditation does a dietitian have?
Just like all of our other allied health clinicians, our dietitian brings with her an industry-leading qualification, accreditation and professional experience ensuring you or your child received the best practice and high quality service One Central Health is renowned for.
When you come in for a dietetic consultation, our dietitian will discuss your particular situation and nutritional needs.
Dietetic assessments are conducted during a consultation appointment to help determine the right nutritional recommendation and formulate the right plan.
Once assessed, our dietitian will walk you through the professional recommendation to ensure you’re able to live a balanced and healthy life supported by the right wholesome diet. If special dietary needs or plans are required this will be discussed as well.
We’re also available for ongoing dietetic appointments to ensure you and your family are making positive progress in the implementation and continuation of your specific dietary plan and requirements.
Our dietitian is available for comprehensive telehealth appointments for clients located both in Perth, regionally and across the state.
